Dance in the rain like no ones watching …

“Rain, rain go away come again some other day” I remember singing these lines as a kid and it is so apt for the Irish climate I think you’ll agree.

I googled how many days of rain does Ireland get a year and Wikipedia said :  The average number of “wet days” (days with more than 1 mm (0.039 in) of rain) ranges from about 151 days a year along the east and southeast coasts, to about 225 days a year in parts of the west.

I actually think its more if I’m honest, well it feels like it this year. So hence my post on the fabulous Rain Mac. Firstly I love the colour and the navy and white polka dot lining is uber stylish. It has two large pockets to the front and a hood to keep your head dry. The drawstrings are rubber as is the lining over the zip so this beauty won’t stop you dancing in the rain !!!

You must admit it’s pretty chic and what lady wants to look drab in her rain gear, not moi that’s for sure. When your dashing from the car to the shops or going for a walk in the country with the family this waterproof number is the business. It is lightweight but your still warm which is a must for me as I’m always cold and it didn’t let me down. I purchased mine in Suzsa Fermoy it retails for €39.99 and it comes in a yellow colourway.

Throw it on over your usual office or weekend brunch attire, and you win at casually playful, subtly cool combo-dressing. I styled mine with a navy floral top and grey jeans. Breton stripes would also look amazing with this pink Mac. Until next time stay dry yet stylish.

Love the pink on you. I’ve lived in Ireland my whole life and I have yet to find a rain jacket that I like, so thank you for this idea!
